Code.org A-F courses blend online, self-guided & self-paced tutorials with “unplugged” activities that require no computer at all. The workshop will prepare you to teach the Code Studio courses for grades EC-8 with a focus on equity for all students. All lessons align to all relevant computer science standards. They additionally reinforce concepts & skills taught in other subject areas by integrating national Math, English Language Arts, and Science standards. Workshop attendees will receive a Code.org swag bag, PD certificate & printed curriculum guide containing course lesson plans. You will also have the opportunity to order classroom supplies for the unplugged activities. Please remember to bring your own device as well as a charger.
