All grades and content areas are invited to join this session, and will have choices of subject & level specific content to explore and collaborate with colleagues. Session will include:jigsaw readings,guided exploration of GIS lessons, as well as tools for learners to begin creating content of their own. In This BYOD session,Teacher-Learners will:
  • Discover a 5 stage path from direct instruction to self directed projects. 
  • Explore subject-focused,standards-based materials in inquiry format. 
  • Identify free resources that require no installations/ logins & are device neutral. 
  • Acquire free GIS lesson plans that can be immediately implemented in classrooms. 
  • Receive access to support materials for best practices in use of GIS.
