Cards and dice will be used to teach primary math concepts including number sense, operations, place value, counting, comparing numbers and fact families/patterns. Participants will learn how to differentiate the games and activities to reach a wide range of learners in their programs including how to use games for small groups, centers, and solitaire activities. Participants will learn management techniques to help students successfully engage in game playing, how to use games for assessment and how to develop strategy books with their students.
