I will give an overview of the field of exoplanets, or planets which orbit stars other than our Sun, aimed those interested in learning about and/or teaching students about exoplanets. I will discuss the different ways astronomers have been able to find exoplanets and how we will soon be able to search these planets for signs of alien life. I will also present and discuss some tools for teaching students about exoplanets in the classroom, including websites where students can join the search for themselves and maybe discover a new exoplanet. The session will be given in a lecture format, and no technology is required to participate.
