Participants will learn strategies for teaching middle years algebra, order of operations, probability, mixed operations, and coordinate geometry using games that incorporate dice and cards. Structured game play is both engaging and motivating for students. Participants will also learn how to differentiate these activities with a simple change of instruction or adding/taking away dice to meet the needs of all students while teaching the same concept.
