Session Description: Learn strategies and frameworks for creating equitable school and classroom environments for students experiencing poverty. We will address common misperceptions about students experiencing poverty that misshape strategies for closing "achievement gaps" then discuss strategies based on deeper understandings. Participants will receive a free copy of Reaching and Teaching Students in Poverty: Strategies for Erasing the Opportunity Gap. **Open to AISD staff only
